We checked into our hotel this afternoon and before we got settled in, Ian & Will came to round the crew up for a sunset beach session. A nice leisurely skate down the boardwalk and a BBQ chicken pizza at Peppy’s was all we needed to get primed for our last sunset on the Pacific Ocean.

The colors were brilliant, the white sand, fine. The tiny grains worked their way into our skateboard bearings, which Justin and Will carefully avoided. I couldn’t help but to just push on and shred some manual action beachside.

With no hot tub at the Holiday Inn Express here in Newport, the boys and I are scrambling to make plans for the evening. Who knows what lay ahead for Crew 2, as we wrap up the 2009 Warren Miller film tour. I mean, Justin just finished tearing the mesh out of his new shorts…and there is, of course, the bane of all hotel existence: the mini-fridge!
